INTIMATE LUXURY WEDDING AT STONE TOWER WINERY

There’s something magical about a love story that comes full circle. From capturing Madeline and Kenneth’s proposal at Inn at Perry Cabin to their engagement session at Stone Tower Winery, witnessing their wedding day at this stunning Virginia vineyard felt like the perfect culmination of their journey together.

Their intimate celebration embodied effortless sophistication, with every detail thoughtfully curated to enhance the natural beauty of Stone Tower’s rolling landscapes. The day began in the venue’s private cottage, where Madeline and her bridesmaids started their morning with champagne toasts and laughter. Her wedding details told a story of personalization – from custom envelope liners featuring an illustration of Stone Tower to hand-painted candlesticks depicting the venue’s sweeping views, and a specially engraved bottle of Chanel perfume marking her new chapter as “Mrs. Cenci.”

Madeline’s Fall 2021 Monique Lhuillier Ambrosia gown was a show-stopping choice – its soft apricot hue with blush undertones perfectly complementing her pink pearl and diamond earrings. The romantic off-shoulder silhouette with billowing sheer sleeves caught the morning light beautifully, while her cathedral-length veil, hand-embroidered by a family member with trailing vines and delicate florals, added a deeply personal touch. Her Manolo Blahnik Hangisi pumps in blush satin provided the perfect finishing detail.

Meanwhile, Kenneth prepared for the day with their other “best man” – their beloved Weimaraner, Senator. Dressed in a custom white tuxedo with monogrammed sleeves, Kenneth cut a striking figure against Stone Tower’s vineyard backdrop. Their first look among the grape vines was made even more intimate as they exchanged heartfelt private vows overlooking Virginia’s rolling hills.

Creating a sophisticated editorial aesthetic, Madeline’s bridesmaids wore individual white gowns, allowing her blush Monique Lhuillier to take center stage. Instead of traditional bouquets, they carried wicker and pearl handbags with tucked-in florals – a creative touch that elevated the entire wedding party’s style.

The ceremony setting showcased Stone Tower’s natural beauty at its finest. Guests watched from terraced seating as Madeline made a cinematic entrance, walking the lakeside path to meet Kenneth. They exchanged vows before a breathtaking semi-circular ground garden created by Springvale Floral, which gave the impression of standing in a natural flower field while preserving the venue’s spectacular views.

While guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lower patio, complete with a mobile whiskey bar serving “The Senator” (a maple old fashioned named after their beloved dog), the newlyweds spent their first moments as husband and wife exploring Stone Tower’s grounds. The Vineyard View Ballroom was transformed for their reception into an old-world romantic setting that would inspire any Dutch still life painter – hanging vines, lush floral runners of magnolia leaves, berries, grapes, cut figs, pears, and blush roses created an abundant tableau, enhanced by romantic candlelight and set against mercury mirrors and velvet linens.

The Bachelor Boys Band kept the energy high throughout the evening as guests alternated between dancing and taking advantage of the outdoor patio’s s’mores bar and rotating video displays. For their grand exit, Madeline changed into a stunning beaded reception gown, as guests bid the couple farewell with light-up paper fans – a modern twist on a classic send-off.

This celebration perfectly demonstrated how an intimate guest list of just seventy nearest and dear ones allows for an incredibly personalized luxury experience. Madeline and Kenneth’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration of their love – it was an artfully curated experience that honored their story while creating an unforgettable experience for their guests.
