My friend Alexandra sent me a message asking if I had an August date open for a wedding. Her friends Laura and Phil were returning to Maryland to get married and needed a photographer. She promised “You’re going to like them. They are really cool and sweet.” That was probably the most accurate description of them.
We hit it off right away. They confessed they were a little nervous about the session (btw- everyone is- completely normal) but they had such an effortless romantic air to them that posing seemed to come naturally. Side note- please appreciate Phil’s smolder! By the time we moved from the pier to the cobblestone street they were practically pros. They giggled easily, danced easily and something about downtown Annapolis that always adds an air of romance to a session. So by the time Laura pulled out the pink sweater I was on cloud 9! I love bright colors- something about them really suits my photography style. As we moved from the capital back into town, we stopped by the famous romantic mural of the bike and the most amazing blue wall. As a few of my couples know- I LOVE a blue wall. All in all, their session is a perfect representation of all the wealth of options Annapolis can give couples!
