Have you seen all my posts (and every other vendor’s posts) about how nuts this season is? HOW NUTS IS IT? I’ll tell you.
I’ve been dying to share this STUNNING double graduation session since May! In fact, in order to keep up with the number of sessions/weddings, the editing, gallery delivery and all the planing that goes with, blogging has taken a back seat. But thanks to a rainy day on our vacation, I’m catching up!
Back to these beauties. Piper celebrated her graduation from University of Maryland School of Public Health the day before our session. The whole family is from North Carolina and were staying in gorgeous Annapolis to celebrate the big moment. But (in what I thought was an incredibly thoughtful gesture), the family also wanted to recognize younger sister Jillian’s graduation from North Carolina State University where she earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing. Jillian graduated in 2020- and we all know the class of 2020 really wasn’t given a proper celebration due to the pandemic shut-downs. However, they brought her cap and gown so we could had double the fun at our session.
We of course did our formal portraits down by the water but the real fun started as we moved into the downtown area. These ladies are every photographer’s dream. Gorgeous, naturals in-front of the camera, not afraid to be silly with each other and me. I’ve never laughed so hard during a session- their silly antidotes had me cracking up! Plus their Mom was an ultimate champ, helping me keep an eye on all the hair (can’t have it blowing around in weird ways) and offering the “duster” off her back as an excellent prop!
