A Mother’s Day Family Session

I got to start mothers day off on a great foot with a multi generational Mother’s day session. Rhoni and Jeremy just welcomed their baby boy 2 short months ago. New babies are always a great excuse to update family portraits. Rhoni made it extra special by inviting her parents to join us. There is something uniquely special about this time when a Mom watches her baby become a mother herself and it was such a delight to be able to have a double mother’s session.

We were racing a cloudy day that looked like it would turn into rain but you would never know (and we wrapped up just as the sprinkles started). Sweet baby cuddles are the best! We definitely caught baby Payson at a good time. He we alert and looking at the camera or his parents- very happy to be passed along from parent to grandparent. Speaking of grandparents- Kennee and Rich are absolutely living their best life with their new grandson. It was so clear they adored snuggling with Payson.

These are such great times in a family’s history and I’m always deeply honored to capture these images for families. These will be those images that Payson will get to look back on when he is older and see how much he was adored.
