Brenda is a woman after my own heart. She is meticulous in her attention to detail and understanding of how selections around clothing and location would change her images. We tossed around 4-6 options but opted for Baltimore’s historic Mt. Vernon because of the grand old buildings gave them that refined look. She bought a new dress, had her hair and make-up done and rented Dan a new suit.

My favorite moment of their Mt. Vernon engagement session was when we were shooting in the circle and saw a Baltimore police vehicle come up. I asked Dan what was the likelyhood he knew the officer as he himself is an officer. He joked “Very unlikely, this is a different shift than I normal work”- and yet, sure enough his buddy pulled up and said hello. He also paused for just a few minutes letting us get a few images with the police car in the background- perfect for this couple!
