Engagement Session

Kim and I planned their engagement session very quickly. Tam travels a lot and we had a small window to work with while he was in town, and she wanted flowers and the first spring flowers were already in full bloom. Luckily Sherwood Garden in Baltimore had us covered for the flowers. I know the sun never broke through the clouds (sorry Kim- I know we were so hopeful) but the color was not lacking thanks to the lovely flowers! Next- outfits. Kim told me she had one look down but after reading the engagement guide thought about using a formal gown for their second look. She sent me a photo and I swooned. I love a floor length gown. She didn’t tell me she was going to pair it with a leather jacket. When she pulled it out I just about died! Amazing! My couples are always so much cooler than I am.

I also loved that Kim’s sister was in full on support mode. She got up early to do Kim’s get ready, drove with them to the session, set up camp in the part to help Kim switch outfits and oh yeah, she looked fabulous herself! This is the kind of support brides need!

They are still in the early stages of planning their wedding but we’ll get to see them again soon- their wedding is going to be this October and I can’t wait to see them again!
