Meghan and Tom’s beautiful Antrim 1844 wedding is located in Taneytown Maryland. It’s a quiet town with the manor located right in the heart of the town. This is my 3rd time at Antrim 1844 for a wedding and I am always so happy when my couples choose this venue.
It’s romantic, timeless, traditional with lots of different portrait locations that we can play with. Plus the customer service at Antrim 1844 is second to none. This was on display when Meghan and Tom’s perfect blue sky day suddenly had a rain storm- one hour before the ceremony. We actually got trapped on a porch during a downpour. We waited it out, and the staff came to rescue us with umbrellas and then hand toweled all their guest chairs. 10 minutes later guests were seated and the ceremony began!
Meghan and Tom are one of those couples you feel instantly comfortable with. They are easy going, warm and personable. Their relationship translates so well on camera. They are comfortable, a little silly but when you ask- super romantic. I also love how great they were at traditional formal portraits. They specifically asked to shoot some portraits in the manors beautiful lobby and I was all too happy to do that with them. And of course, once the portraits were done and reception started it was party central! I love these 2021 weddings- everyone is just so happy to finally be back and celebrating good news again!
