One of the themes of this past year has putting people in the water. It started on the banks, then a toe dipped in but the edge. When I asked Christine if she was game to walk into the water with her dress hanging down she smiled “Absolutely.” That image of her alone in the water is one of my all time favorites. She looks like a maternal Godess.
Christine and I have been friends since highschool and it is such a unique experience to now be with her in this moment as she becomes a mother (or at the writing of this post- already a mother). Watching her fall in love and have this little girl on the way – no one deserves happiness more. Stay tuned, her newborn photos will be in a blog soon!
