Columbia Maryland Family Session

filed in

When location scouting for Anne and Carter’s engagement session (see that here), I took one look at the stunning fall foliage and I had to have another session here. Families and couples wait all year for this foliage and I had to squeeze another session in so I posted on my Instagram, 25% off for the first person who got back to me and Chelsea reached out. I don’t offer discounts frequently but when the foliage demands it… (follow my Instagram because I will do this again in the future).

Like many families, she realized they hadn’t updated family photos in years AND they had a new family member! So they met me the hour before Anne and Carter’s session and we had a blast! Their boys were high energy but fall sessions were built for that- the rule is, you smile at the camera for one shot, then for the next we can have a leaf fight. One more look at the camera, then we can jump off rocks. One nice smile (for Mom), one silly face. With this pattern, we get the nice shots of the family for the wall and Christmas Card and the photos that are your children through and through.
