Jenny officially has a masters degree in Education!
This was a fun session for me. Jenny and I attended Notre Dame of Maryland University together, she was a year or two behind me. Jenny has always been the sweetest soul and oh so smart. I loved having her in my classes because she brought such thoughtful perspectives to classroom discussions. When she reached out to tell me she was graduating from John Hopkins University with her Masters in Education (she teaches Kindergarten), I was thrilled! Not just to have the chance to celebrate this milestone with her but thrilled for her and her students. Jenny is 100% the kind of person we want teaching children.
During her session we talked about how difficult the year had been, teaching Kindergarten completely virtually as well as completing her Masters online. The amount of innovation that has occurred is staggering, as is the genuine care for these children.
